Our Knitting Group have been very busy, knitting for children in a Safe Houses.  Linda  Morris explained to me that “The knitted items are for children in safe houses, they sometimes arrive at these homes with nothing.  A toy on their bed could give them a bit of comfort, so the U3A knitting group decided to make a few soft toys for them”.
